Tormented Souls 2 is a sequel to the third-person survival horror adventure game, released in 2021 for PC, PS5, and XSX/S, and in 2022 for PS4, Xbox One, and Switch. Like the original, the sequel was developed by the Chilean studio Dual Effect. The game was published by pQube. Plot In Tormented Souls 2, you play as Caroline Walker, known from the first game. Her sister, Anna, inexplicably develops black eyes, coughs blood, and regularly loses consciousness. When conventional remedies prove ineffective, Caroline turns to the supernatural. This leads her to the South American town of Puerto Miller, founded centuries ago by the Ismuit tribe—a small religious group shunned from the outside world. It quickly becomes clear that this place harbors unspeakable horrors, which Caroline must confront if she hopes to save her sister. Gameplay Gameplay-wise, Tormented Souls 2 is essentially the same as its predecessor. The protagonist's actions are observed from a third-person perspective (TPP). In battles with the horrors of Puerto Miller, the heroine uses homemade, makeshift weapons. Outside of combat, Caroline solves puzzles of varying complexity, often involving using the right item in the right place.
