Double Dragon Revive is a "fresh start" in the history of the iconic Double Dragon beat 'em up series, launched in 1987. The game was developed by Yuke's Studio, whose portfolio includes games in the WWE 2K series and AEW: Fight Forever. It was published by Arc System Works, a company known for fighting games, which acquired the rights to the franchise in 2015. Plot In Double Dragon Revive, players once again assume the role of Billy and Jimmy Lee, the series' protagonists and masters of martial arts. The protagonists must once again face their powerful enemies from the past, and it's up to them to survive this clash. Gameplay Mechanically, Double Dragon Revive doesn't deviate much from what we're accustomed to, both from the series itself and the genre as a whole. We watch the action from the side, and during the game we control warriors who move right through city streets and interiors of buildings, eliminating hordes of adversaries. On the battlefield, the heroes primarily use their fists and legs (to deliver various punches and kicks), combining attacks into spectacular combinations. But that's not all, as they also make use of melee weapons, which they can pick up to strike enemies with them, as well as environmental elements (like trash cans, into which they can throw defeated opponents).
