Plot In Plan B: Terraform, the plot takes a backseat. As Earth struggles to contain the greenhouse effect and its devastating consequences, humanity needs the titular Plan B: settling an alien planet. This is where we enter the picture, and our mission is to transform the dead planet into a vibrant, welcoming place for Earth-born creatures. Mechanics In Plan B: Terraform, the action is experienced from a bird's-eye view. The game takes place on a vast map covered in a hexagonal grid, and we shoulder everything related to terraforming an alien planet. During gameplay, we mine, process, and transport natural resources, build various vehicles and machines (such as trucks and trains), and construct various structures. Chief among these are greenhouse gas factories, which allow us to modify the planet's atmosphere to our needs. As these gases are emitted, temperatures on the alien planet's surface begin to rise, leading to the melting of polar ice caps, causing rainfall, and enabling the formation of rivers, lakes, seas, and oceans. Technical Issues Plan B: Terraform features fairly simple, yet colorful and clear graphics in a cartoon style. The game is accompanied by an atmospheric, tranquil soundtrack.
