It was originally released in 1995. In the US, it was titled King Biscuit Flower Hour Presents: Deep Purple in Concert, and in the UK and Japan, it was titled On the Wings of a Russian Foxbat [there is a difference in both content and mastering]. A ten-track version was released in 2000 under the title Extended Versions. The concert was restored and re-released in 2009. The performance was recorded by the radio program King Biscuit Flower Hour. The performance is considered one of the best concerts by the Coverdale–Bolin–Hughes–Lord–Pace lineup. The recording is supplemented by a segment from a performance in Springfield, Massachusetts, USA, a month earlier - King Biscuit had originally planned to air the Springfield performance, but the recording was of poor quality. Note that the track listing for CD 1 lists "The Grind" as being performed - this is incorrect, as it is Bolin's "Homeward Strut" from his solo album Teaser
