Dark Sector is a dynamic action game prepared by the Digital Extremes development team, known for creating the legendary Unreal Tournament series. We observe the game from a third-person perspective. To better replicate the film's plot, the game's creators removed various health and energy indicators from the screen, very popular in competing titles. The action of this item was set in Russia. The player, playing the role of Hayden Tenno, infected with a mysterious virus and endowed with unusual skills, will visit the darkest corners of the Eastern European borderlands, including port wharves, mines, abandoned schools and towns. As befits a modern product, the plot is full of surprising twists and turns, enriched with cutscenes created using the game's graphics engine. Dark Sector is a shooting game in which the main role is played by a boomerang blade growing from our protagonist's hand. With its help, we can eliminate most opponents, both from a distance and from a direct distance. One of the most interesting options related to it is the ability to control it during flight to deprive opponents of limbs with even greater precision. Of course, this does not mean that Dark Sector lacks firearms. The arsenal consists of several varieties of rifles (including AKS-74), pistols and shotguns. Additionally, we can install additional upgrades for our guns from a merchant located in the sewers. The audiovisual setting of the game is of a decent standard. The authors of the game focused primarily on detailed, richly textured character models. Enemies encountered during the game include: bosses move in a very realistic way.
