Textbook in PDF format The Jet Transport (JT) technique is an automatic differentiation method that allows to obtain high-order Taylor expansions of nonlinear functions. In recent years, this technique has been gaining popular attention and shown great power in the field of astrodynamics. This book provides an overview of the JT technique from the perspective of theory and application. Chapter 2 gives a comprehensive introduction to the theory and development. Chapter 3 discusses the applications of JT technique for uncertainties prorogation in the high-fidelity space environment. Based on the JT technique, several nonlinear filters are proposed in Chaps. 4–7. In Chap. 8, the JT technique is used to develop low-thrust station keeping strategies for unstable orbits. Therefore, this book is suitable for both graduate students and researchers
