The leader of the band was Jürgen Drews, who started in the jazz orchestra "Snirpels" and later joined "Chimes Of Freedom". After some time, their manager decided to change the sound of the band and the name to "Die Anderen". A contract was signed for recording two albums with the producer of the company "Ariola" Giorgio Moroder. In 1968, they changed their name to "Apocalypse", deciding to conquer the American market with their debut. However, the career of the band was over before it could really begin. Mainly due to the bankruptcy of the label "Colossus", with which they had a deal
