As proud Londoners, the group described their sound as Thamesbeat but you might know it better by the name their music was given by press of the time: Powerpop. Released in 1996, Thamesbeat compiled the Pleasers singles and the never released album produced by Tommy Boyce of Monkees' fame. The Thamesbeat CD is now really tricky to find (try ebay) or you can grab the newly remastered album in digital format on itunes
