This is the 2013 Korean action/thriller/romance/crime drama series. Its native title is "무정도시" which translates to the English title, but has also been translated as "Cruel City" which is an alternate title. It's also called "Undercover." I downloaded the source videos like "Heartless.City.E01.1080p.WEB-DL.H264.AAC-AppleTor.mp4" and English subtitles like 'Heartless.City.E01.720p.WEB-DL.x265.10Bit-Pahe.srt', then... - Used a nonlinear video editor to trim out short repeating sections (from commercial breaks) in some episodes - Used Subtitle Edit (by Nikolaj Lynge Olsson) to find and fix all flagged issues - Added 0.7 second to each subtitle (where possible) to allow more time to read them and adjusted words/minute to at least 280 - "Softened" all subtitled profanity (bastard --> jerk, damn --> darn, bitch --> witch etc.) - Corrected commonly-found typos, converted many word pairs into common English contractions, and brought together sentence fragments - Colored all media, signs, and flashback subtitles to salmon, yellow, and teal respectively - Used Handbrake to create new MKV files using my subtitles "Profanity is the parlance of the fool.
