Interest in the G-spot and female orgasms was revived with the publication of a 1982 NY Time bestseller called The G-Spot. Artie Mitchell was introduced to the book through his friend Simone Corday. According to Simone, "Art and Jim sent for rubber gloves, a box of K-Y jelly, two lab coats, and took over the pool table for research."
Their obsession with the G-spot resulted in the classic 1985 film featuring an all-star cast of Ginger Lynn, Harry Reems, Annette Haven, John Holmes, Rick Savage, Amber Lynn and Nina Hartley. In the film's most outrageous scene, Traci Lords had a threesome but had to be cut a year later when the scandal broke. But not here!
Ginger Lynn is in great shape as Leslie, a girl who doesn't understand why she keeps "pissing" on her boyfriend. But once she learns about her G-spot, it sets her free. Harry Reems plays her boyfriend Michael, who becomes more and more of a man as he learns about the G-spot and, more importantly, female sexuality. Annette Haven plays a doctor who helps the couple adjust to their newfound sexual knowledge with a hands-on approach.
Grafenberg Point was filmed on location in the San Francisco Bay Area and was one of the last big budget films made by the Mitchell brothers.
